Spring 2023 NCL Spirit Week
A huge thank you to our incredible Sponsors and Partners that helped us wrap up the Spring Competition Season with a series of career-focused events for NCL Spirit Week! Representatives from seven companies presented at the Recruiter Pitch Day sharing about their company culture, open entry level roles and internship programming opportunities. For the Career Village event, volunteers were matched with students to conduct mock interviews, resume reviews and share about their cyber roles.
Students from the NCL Community were able to connect and learn from our supporters, creating opportunities for connecting and networking within the cyber community. The encouragement and support our students received throughout the events has allowed them to take one more step closer to the cyber role of their dreams, and we are so grateful for the time and dedication of our champions.
We would also like to share a special shoutout to Dr. Ashley Podhradsky from Dakota State University, who was our special guest speaker for the Spring 2023 NCL Awards Ceremony. Dr. Podhradsky is an exceptional representation of women in cyber and spearheads many initiatives to break down barriers for women in cyber.
We’re excited to host future Spirit Week events and look forward to continuing to set the stage for success for our NCL Community members.
