Cyber Skyline Operations Associate
Ashley is an operations associate for Cyber Skyline. She works behind the scenes ensuring that projects are running smoothly while making sure that there is a template and process for everything. When not at work she can be found near the water, at Universal Studios or hanging out with her cat Puck and dog Nanook.
What three words would you use to describe your role?
Planning, Efficiency, Coordination
What is your motto or personal mantra?
That is a future me problem. Sometimes not all problems need to be addressed immediately and as a person who wants to fix everything right away, telling myself that something is a future me problem allows for me to make note of an issue and continue on doing exactly what I need to be doing, so that I do not become stressed or overwhelmed when a non-critical issue arises.
What do you wish other people knew about NCL?
How many resources are available to the students to help them succeed. The NCL partners with many companies and individuals so that we can offer a variety of events and opportunities throughout the year. We provide information on scholarship opportunities, have a mentorship program, and host hiring events for those looking to join the cyber security workforce.
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I am obsessed with Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas movies.
What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?
Honestly I would probably work at an animal sanctuary or shelter. Or open up my very own little Christmas shop.
