This GivingTuesday, the National Cyber League raised funds to help provide free NCL registrations to students from underrepresented groups within the cybersecurity community.
We pride ourselves on being more than just a capture the flag competition, but a thoughtful and valuable resource for all of those that are a part of our community. Each season, our registration waiver program has supported and inspired the members of our community who typically do not have the means to compete in the NCL Competition - this program breaks down barriers in immeasurable ways. Every donation received will help us support members of our NCL Community that need a helping hand to achieve their goals for a cyber career.
We ended up receiving $830! Our goal was $3,500, but what we received will go toward our plans to support students within our awesome community. It might take us a little longer to get there, but we learned a lot from our efforts this time around. The next fundraising campaign will be even better, and we are so appreciative of everyone that generously donated to our goal.
GivingTuesday 2023 was just the beginning for our team to find new ways to spread the word about the mission of the NCL, to bridge curriculum to careers, and we look forward to continued success with your help and encouragement.
